Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring your own kayak to Lake Murray in La Mesa?

And if so do they charge a fee to let you? We are thinking of heading out there for Memorial Day but can't decide if we should go there for a picnic and boating or to Mission Bay. Thanks for your advice.

Yes, definately! You must wear a life jacket and the fee is 15.00 per person! Me and my hubby did this last summer and it was amazing! Have fun and good luck!
