Best place for family in La Jolla, CA?

There is 5 of us...so we don't quite fit into the standard 2 queen bed rooms!

You could try the Embassy Suites on La Jolla Village Drive in the University Towne Center area of La Jolla. It's right next to a nice mall and lots of family type resturants to eat at. It's also a pretty close drive to the beach, La Jolla Shores (great family beach) is a short 10 min drive and about 2-3 miles away. Torrey Pines State Beach is also about a 10 minute drive and about 3-4 miles away. Torrey Pines Golf Course (one of the best public courses in the country) is close and on the way to Torrey Pines Beach.

There are a lot of nice hotels in La Jolla and some of them probably offer suites. But I think the Embassy Suites are pretty nice and clean at a reasonable price for a suite. you can check out the hotel at this site: http://www.embassysuites.com/en/es/hotel...

Ask for a roll-away. Rooms are steep in La Jolla. Maybe you could go to San Diego Hotel Circle and a get a family suite cheaper and drive the 15 minutes or so to La Jolla.
