How early do you need to arrive for get a fire pit for bonfire in San Diego? |
Travel Info Going to San Diego in august and have a large group of 30. how early do I need to get to the beach to reserve a spot? Travel Tips If you are having a night time bonfire... you might want to get there around sunset or a little before. It is the perfect time to get settled, and that is usually when the right time to start it is. Usually no one gets there too much before then, and all the high school kids start thier's around 9 or so. You might want to try OB. That is usually a good place to bonfire and there is not too many people there. Source(s): I am from San Deigo!!! Other Travel Tips depends on where you want to have it. If your talking popular places on the beach or in La Jolla...early. If you don't mind Mission bay park, you can pretty much get one anytime (most of the times, i do understand busy weekend like 4th of July are different..but for the most part). Mission Bay park had hundreds of pits around it, and you can almost always find one without have to go 12 hour a head of time It rarely depends on what location. The average time you want to arrive is between 6-10 a.m. on holidays really early. if you want to get there early but dont want to sit there all day you can take shifts, ive dont that before. well have fun w/ your bonfire, dont forget the smores!! |
