Travel Info What is a good hotel to stay in San Diego near Seaworld for 6 people? 2 adults and 4 children? Travel Tips I just went thru the hotels last night, I don't know what your price range is but here are a few for ya, Comfort inn and suites has a great lay out for families with bunk beds for the kids plus they have a pretty nice cont. breakfast , then there is Crown Plaza which is beautiful they have a breakfast but it costs extra, both hotels are about 140 per night, they are about 15 miles away from Sea World, my family really enjoys the Dana, the rooms are about 250 per night though it is worth it especially if u get a pool room the kids think it is aw some, there is the Hyatt Regency across the street which has been real nice but they are remodeling right now, they are about 199 per night and those you can actually walk to Sea World, My best advise is BOOK YOUR ROOM ASAP!!! They really fill up fast during the summer months. also save yourself some $ by getting your tickets for theme parks thru the hotel when you book your room Hope I helped at least a little Source(s): I grew up in SanDiego and now visit my famiy there at least 4 times per year Other Travel Tips There are many hotels in the mission valley area, which is just east of seaworld. They are off of hotel circle. You can check hotels.com for prices and book online. Have a fun trip!! I would check out prices on expedia.com and hotels.com. San Diego is beautiful but extremely over priced hotels. Take your time and find something close to Sea World and The Padres stadium. It's worth seeing a baseball game there. There are a number of good hotels very near Seaworld, depending on what you want to pay. Three of our family favorites are: 1. Paradise Point - most kid friendly and very nice, but most expensive - tons of stuff to do onsite including a minigolf, many swimming pools, multi-person bikes, 2 person Sunfish sailboats and motor boats. 2. Hyatt Islandia - nice pool, usual Hyatt service 3. Bahia For a longer list, check out hotels.com - you can put 'seaworld' into the landmark section and get about 10 hotels within 5 miles of the park. Generally, anything with reasonble rates and located in Mission Valley is less than a 15 minute drive over to Sea World. Downtown, La Jolla and beach-area hotels will be much more expensive than Mission Valley. Check with the hotels, as some offer free shuttles to Sea World and other local attractions. |
