What are some fun things to do in Southern California?

Travel Tips
- Breathe in the smog.

- Get stuck in a traffic jam on "the 5"

- Spend the day watching the Paris Hilton wannabes at the Fashion Valley Mall

- Get drunk with the midwestern frat buddies at PB

- Hang out with David Metzger (Aryan Nation) in Fallbrook

- Drive a monster truck across the "dunes" in Glamis, then look at the girls flash their tops at the "bros"

- Look at all the condos in foreclosure in Downtown San Diego.

- Attend the San Diego Symphony, in flip flops

- Swim at Imperial Beach, then get diarrhea.

- Count the number of provincial San Diego "natives" complain about all the rude people whom have moved to San Diego from New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and L.A., and then in the same sentence say that San Diego is not as bad as those "big cities" (San Diego merely has 1.3 million people)

- Watch Rod Luck on KUSI news, then feel stupider for doing so

- Complain about the corruption in San Diego city government, then vote for a shady, good old boy, ex cop like Jerry Sanders

- Remind others how you "don't have to shovel the snow off your car in the winter like in Buffalo, then wonder why you paid $850,000 for a 2 bedroom condo in Hillcrest.

- Drive 2 hours to drink 3rd rate wine in Temecula.

go to disneyland
universal studios
go see and angels or a dodgers game
you could see a lakers game but the season is over for them
go to hollywood
go see college campuses... like USC or UCLA
lots morree.
theres ALOT of fun things to do in SoCal there are beaches, theme parks, and shopping and the food is okay here also
You can rent a motel here in Chula Vista for cheaper and go to Disneyland and other parks North of us which are only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. Also there's Sea World and Coronado here which are alot of fun. Also I would say pick up a visitor's map/schedule at one of our many visitor's centers which will gladly help plan out your trip and send you in the right direction. Good luck and have fun as we are known for a good time outskirts town.
