Why are people in San Diego so phony?

Because they all think they're hot and interesting when they are actually boring ,stupid and all look fake.

Because san diego is phony, it doesnt exist, only in your mind, muhahahaha
Haven't you heard? San Diego is an experimental site for humaniods. Oh yeah, it's been in all the papers and on CNN too! I bet you live at the experimental site for cave dwellers.
It must have something to do with the Zoo.
I am from San Diego county and well we are not "phony" out there. Some people are yes, but it depends on where you go. To tell you the truth, people are phony because they want to be better than everyone else. Think about it, they spend a million dollars on their homes and thousands on their car, but their neighbor has everything only newer and better, of course because you spent that much money and have all that but someone is better than they are. Of course fake people are going to act phony. They are trying to be happy but they just don't know that money doesn't buy happiness.
As a SD native, I would have to disagree. There are fake people everywhere and you will always run into them at some point. SD attracts a lot of wealthy people, and some of them assume that because they have money, then they have the upper hand; again, it's like that EVERYWHERE. The city itself is actually very beautiful and culturally rich. You just have surround yourself with positives. It's not tagged "America's Finest City" for nothing.
