Can anyone suggest affordable and safe places to stay in San Diego?

Dont go South of the 163 freeway its ghetto....

Hotel Circle is cheaper and safe and theres alot of hotels there and the mall... but inland...

Or theres Mission Beach and Pacific Beach Which are right on the beach and if you stay at the older motels its pretty cheap.

everything is affordable on the out skirts of diego
like chula vista, national city
stuff like that it depends on how much you wana spend the closer you get to mexico the cheaper
