What morning is better to visit Tijuana, Mexico....Sunday or Tuesday? |
Travel Info Are shops open on Sunday and Tuesday mornings during same hours? Is there any advantage to going one morning opposed to the other? Is the border any better/worse on either day to cross if driving? Travel Tips Okay..It depends on the time..Because Tuesday morning will be crowded earlier in the morning due to people going to work and school..But, in the mid-morning time around like 9-10am it's not as crowded.. But, then it will get crowded again in like the afternoon time.. On Sunday..The mornings are not that crowded during the morning time. Since most people have the day off and people are going to church, etc..But, later on in the day it WILL get crowded coming back across.. Hth's:-) Source(s): Lived in tj for a couple of months. Other Travel Tips visit tuesday, sunday everyone is still too majorly hung over. lol The Tijuana border is always super long but if I were you I'd go on Sunday definitely Tues.!! Sunday's are FULL of people comeing over from San Diego and it is packed and the patrols are much more active because of this frequent TJ visitor BobbyBlackEyes is right and there is more to it. Sunday is when the tourists who stayed further South of Tijuana during the weekend head home. and this causes the heaviest traffic of the week crossing the boarder. Some of the shops in T.J. boost their prices on Sunday because of the increased traffic. The best time to avoid the (tourist) crowds in Tijuana is the weekdays, and mornings are better than the afternoon or evening. If you want to get better deals, then shop somewhere other than Revolution Ave and the tourist areas. |
