Edit: I just looked for you. Yesssss ... good guess! The shortest nonstop flight is 5hrs 15min. Not bad considering I live in Australia. Depends on whether you are driving or flying.... lol ... just kidding... air time is about 5.5 hours. 5 or 6 hours. I have never flown from San Diego although I live half way between San Diego and LAX. From my own experience flying from LAX, it takes a little over 5 hours going over there and 4 1/2 on the way back. The tail winds make it longer going there. I figure there shouldn't be much difference between San Diego and LAX. On another note: I do love the time change there. I can sleep in and still be waking up early.
