How much is rent in San Diego about? |
Travel Info How much is the rent in San Diego downtown about and how much is it by the beach area? Can you share? I'm new, but I want to move to California, but I can't move to SF because it's way too expensive. I would like the nice warm weather though. Travel Tips Riightt.. to the other answers. Ok, I'm 23 single and work as a stocker. I can afford to live in San Diego and am comfortable. If you check out craigslist you'll see that there are roomate situations starting from 300-to like 600 some with your own bath and entrance AND some are in places by the beach. As for your own place, I had an apartment in Lemon Grove, which I loved because of how chill it was for $700 and I only paid my electric which came out to like 15 bucks. I have found cheaper places but I'm picky and like the neighborhood to be relaxed. I liked golden hills/ south park alot for a roomate situation. I was about to room with someone close to balboa park and downtown for $400 in a rad little 2 bedroom but I'd rather take my money and head out with family to Canada, and then reloacte to NY. Hope this helps a little. Craigslist is cool, keep checking it out there's new stuff posted daily. Others by pacific beach about 2000.00 a month. La mesa san diego about 1500.00 a month but I'm sure you could find a studio for about 1000.00 try craigs list www.craiglsit.com I think thats the website or google it San Diego and San Francisco are about the same. I used to live in San Fran and now I live in SD. SD is a little cheaper, but not by much. If you are worried about price, do not come here. San Diego caters to the rich and spoiled, and is priced accordingly. |
