Is it easy to? |
Travel Info Maneuver my way through San Diego using public transportation? What are the most convenient ways if i'm a college student & have no car? I've never really used public transportation before so i'm nervous. Are there passes u can just pay for like 4 a whole year or something? Travel Tips It's kind of a pain, but it can be done. All the bus schedules and routes can be found online. If you're going to ucsd you take the city buses for free within a pretty reasonable area, and the school shuttles are also very convenient. Honestly, I only had to take the bus a few times, and all but once it was free. Don't worry about it. I would hold off on buying a bus pass until you see the different options your school offers and how much transportation you'll need. Others not very easy im afraid... why dont you arrange to go through san diego with a friend? that way itll be easier.. I'm going to have to agree with the previous post. Public transportation is not the easiest way to make it around san diego, although it is possible. We have both city buses and a trolley system that make up our public transit. You can combine year passes for both (cheaper then buying seperate). I also read that you were a college student, and i'm not sure which college you are attending, but I know san diego state has a rail line that runs directly out of it. http://www.sdcommute.com/ |
