Do you live Near San Fransico California? Please advise? |
Travel Info Ok I was not sure where to ask this question but if you all can help me out that would be great .I figured it would be good to find out from all you singles and daters. I would like to know of some good places to be on New Years eve in San Fransisco California? I have never been out to the city on New Years and would like to know some good hot spot, eating, drinking and having a good time.. All you help is appreciated and have a Happy New Year. Travel Tips Well the obvious places that come to mind are the Embaradero where the big city party complete with fireworks will be and Union Square where all the hotels, bars and restaurants are pushing NYE "specials" Then there is Northbeach and the Marina which will be overcrowded with drunken frat boys and Trixies. Or for a more alternative set of drunken artsy types you can try the Mission or the Haight. But in any event going out on New Years Eve is a joke, everything is over priced, way too crowded and there are drunks everywhere. That is why bartenders refer to it as "amateur night". If you are going into the city, take public transportation. Despite checkpoints there will be drunks on the road. And if you plan to drink, don't drive. Others Downtown... Agreed. North Beach/Little Italy was not bad, but better to go with friends. |
