Travel Info Where is the best and nicest place to stay in Monterey, CA near the aquarium for around $100-$200 per night? Travel Tips I stayed at the Monterey Plaza and Spa. It's right on Cannery Row and within walking distance to the aquarium. There are two resturants located in the hotel and there is a spa with a hot tub on the top floor. The rooms have ocean view, garden view, or cannery row view. There is valet parking as well. There is a special on right know where you get breakfast at one of the restuarants. It is valid until March 31. Others if you have any military ties, try at the naval station. 50 bucks or less. Salinas. Its a short drive. There is a Best Western at the low end of the price range you quote not too far from the wharf. I've stayed at the Spindrift Inn. It is right on Cannery Row just about a block from the Aquarium. They have Ocean View and Cannery Row views. Both are really nice! Fireplaces, window seats, comfy beds, Valet parking.... TRUST ME YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED... and don't forget to eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp! |
