I always stay there. It is near Union Square and the theatre district, great restaurants and shopping. It's not the cheapest, but it is a good value. There are hundreds of cheap hotels in SF. You could find many motels along Lombard Avenue, though it's a busy street and there's traffic noise. What are your specific needs? Do you want room service, TV, etc.? Do you want to be in the center of town? Near shopping? Near the park? The Broadway Manor Inn is reasonably priced. It's on a main street with good public transportation access and free parking. I would avoid hotels in the Tenderloin, Western Addition (for safety). You also might want to look into bed and breakfasts. |
