I was wondering where I can take my 3 yr old to play in the snow in n. california? |
Travel Info I live in modesto,ca Travel Tips I used to live in modesto. We used to go up to the Lake alpine area. In tha tgeneral area, you can find dodge ridge ski resort, and not too far away is a place called Leland High Sierra Snow Play Area . They have a great hill for sledding, and they rent tubes and sleds. We used to have a blast there. Source(s): http://www.snowplay.com/ Other Travel Tips if you can get to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, there can be good snow there sometimes. In the mountains would be another good place to check. If you drive on I80 East, about 45-1hour past Sacramento, you'll see signs before exits that have "Snow Parks."
