Haight-Ashbury Highlights in San Francisco? |
Travel Info My best friend and I will be in San Francisco for just one day. What are the best things to see in the Haight-Ashbury area? Should we go directly to that crossing, or is it more just the general district? Travel Tips The district starts at Stanyan and runs all the way to the lower Haight, which is on the other side of Divisadero. But the most action is in between Stanyan and Masonic. Just stroll Haight Street. You'll find lots of stores, restaurants, and interesting and sometimes weird people to watch. Others Yeah you can start at @ that intersection, again, you'll see all the people and the shops are right there, cant miss it. Are you going to see the Castro district? What about little Italy? Fisherman's Warf? Cannery Row? Nob Hill? Alcatraz? Japan Town? You might want to take a guided tour, since there's so much to see, and you only have a day. Enjoy your stay.
