Where's your favorite place to go camping in northern California? |
Travel Info I'm going to Half Moon bay in two weeks and was wondering what some other good places are. Travel Tips Samuel P Taylor State Park or Armstrong Redwoods State Park in Marin and Sonoma Counties. Great redwoods. Others Grover Hot Springs in Alpine County! Great State Park! Ok, I'm really biased because we were shipped off there every summer for camp but I love Felton CA. That's in the Santa CRuz Mountains. All of the Redwoods and the fresh water creeks running through. Plus the smell of the Redwoods early in the morning are a great way to wakeup. Besides the Summer Camp we went to, I know there are plenty of campgrounds in the area, so check 'em out. By the way, I'm 36 years old and my mom started shipping me off at the age of 7 and I continued until I was 14. yomesite Further north is Dillion Beach.. Even further.. in Mendocino is Manchester Beach.. Dillion beach is West of Petaluma off of Hwy 1. I hate camping. I spent too much time in tents when I was in the service. |
