Where is the cheapest place to live in the Berkley area? |
Travel Info I may be going to grad school in berkely, just wondering where the cheaper apartments are in that area Travel Tips I would look for a place: 1. Close to the North Berkeley BART station at Virginia and Sacramento. You can BART (or even walk) to campus from there. 2. The other side of campus, past Telegraph Ave and most of its shops. 3. I would look on Craigslist and see if anyone has any rooms or guest houses for rent in the Berkeley Hills and around that area. 4. The El Cerrito area isn't too far from campus by BART but it does put you a bit out of the way for study groups and such. Price wise it's prolly better than that part of Berkeley though.
