I am going to Napa Valley next month for vacation. What kind of clothes should I take? |
Travel Info How will the weather be and what do people usually wear when they do wine tours? Casual or on the dressy side? Travel Tips business casual should be good. be sure to bring layers as it can be a bit cold in the a.m. and p.m. and a good jacket (water repellent) and umbrella. Wear shoes that are comfortable but stylish and have lots and lots of fun!! One of my favorite things to do!! Others Be casual but clean and put together and dress in layers. You'll want to wear flat shoes & bring a jacket if you are doing any tours of the wineries. If you are just doing tasting, wear something that's comfortable on uneven and hard ground. Many roads & parking lots for wineries are gravel, so you don't want to wear anything that isn't conducive to that environment. Jeans are fine and I'd probably have a sweater with a long sleeved tee on underneath it. I may even carry a light coat in case it's a cold day. To find the weather forecast, check out weather.com and search for Napa, CA. The weather has been wild all up & down the west coast, so you can't even rely onthe forecast too much. Have fun! Dressy casual such as nice jeans with a sweater or slacks and nice shirt with comfortable shoes is a good idea. Be sure to visit Coppola and eat at Rutherfords Grill in Rutherford. Have a good trip its fun in rain or shine. Live in area and been to the wine country many times. |
