Thanks Travel Tips The San Francisco Main Library at 100 Larkin Street (near City Hall and the Supreme Court Building) will have updated copies of California's legal codes. There's also a government information center on the 5th floor that has city, state, and federal documents related to the environment. Bookstores will large law sections include: NOLO Legal Publishing (510) 704-2248 950 Parker St Berkeley, CA 94710 Golden Gate University Bookstore (415) 442-7277 62 1st St San Francisco, CA 94105 Hastings College of Law Bookstore Phone: 800.925.1679 or 415.565.4610 Fax: 415.861.0384 100 McAllister St. San Francisco, CA 94102 And, of course, the law schools at major universities like UC Berkeley and Stanford University will have extensive holdings of legal documents. Most of them can be obtained through their libraries. Others Is everything illegal there??? Almost all bookstores are legal. Why would a bookstore be illegal? Or has Bush signed some kind of executive decree banning bookstores? |
