I didn't have the privilege of staying at Marina Dunes, but I was at Holiday Inn Express which was down the street from Marina Dunes. I took a visit to Marina Dunes to see what it was like and it was very nice. You do have to walk over to the beach and most of the rooms do not have a clear view of the beach. However, the rooms are very nice and the atmosphere feels just like a resort instead of a hotel. The only bad thing I have to say is that you have to park your car at the beginning of the lot and take a golf cart to your room. A little bothersome if it is raining. However, overall a very nice place to stay.
