Travel Info I will be attending a research conference but I expect to have a free day or two. Would it be worth it to pay for a tour of the city? What are some fo the good gay nightclubs there? Preferrably ones that play Hip Hop music. How far is San Rafael from San Francisco? Travel Tips Your best bet would be to head to the Castro. There are several hip hop gay nightclubs. The Cafe on Mondays is Hip Hop Night Jet on Thursdays(?maybe) is Hip Hop Bar on Castro also has a Hip Hop night. San Rafael is just over the bridge depending on how you get there (Golden Gate or Richmond Bridge then Bay Bridge). Maybe 30-40 minutes to get to the Castro. Have fun...
