We are looking to move from San Francisco Bay area to the East Coast where there isn't a ton of snow? |
Travel Info Any Suggestions? We thought of Ithaca, Charlotte, Asheville, Brattleboro-but are afraid of too much snow I am originally from Maryland so am used to a bit of snow, ...we want somewhere that's pretty liberal, safe and vegetarian friendly where we can raise children. Thanks! Travel Tips Wilmington,NC is a good choice. But from what you are describing what immediately comes to mind is Maryland and Deleware. Others yeah hey will this here is a guy who lives on the ever so awsome NC Beach, man i to lived in MD but i love it here the surf is killer and the job openings are becoming more often i live in the sea village of Swansboro and yeah our public schools are one of the best in the state and for the kids there is soccer yeah iam on the state team and love it so if i were in your shoes i would chouse Swansboro or Morehead so yeah good luck yeah iam livin it most of the east cost doesnt get a ton of snow (most of the time)...any thing south of new england and you will only get less than a foot a year, and florida get next to none expecially south of central florida Charleston SC is a Very beautiful place...warm...not too many cold nights. Safe place for children. Charlotte has a lot of crime. Asheville has more ice than snow. Fayetteville NC is nice..so is Florence SC. Brattleboro has ice too sometimes. Ithaca GA is nice also. Smaller southern towns are better for children than large ones like Charlotte or Atlanta. Truck Driver |
