Anyone know of any good camping spots in california besides Yosemite, Lake Tulloch, and Lake Don Pedro?

I live in the Bay Area and love to go camping and boating during the summer, any ideas on where I can go that are not too far? A four hour drive is the most I want to do for a 3-4day camping/ boating trip.

Travel Tips
Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to camp. We always enjoy Emerald Bay State Park.

New Melones near Sonora is another great place for boating and camping that's not too far. New Hogan near Valley Springs is another.
