What places and resturants do i HAVE to go to before leaving San Francisco? |
Travel Info my mom and I are going in the last week of April for 5 days. Any ideas?? Shes in her mid 40s and I'm 15, so no strip clubs LOL Travel Tips Well you have to do and see the usual things that make San Francisco unique. ~~ Ride a cable car (if you don't get a seat you need to hang on for dear life) ~~ Visit Lombard Street the curviest street in the world. ~~ A day wandering around Fishermans Wharf and Pier 39, watch the elephant seals (they're very noisy, when awake!). ~~ Take a bay tour and visit Alcatraz ( I think both you and your Mum would enjoy that). ~~ Enjoy the atmosphere, colour, sights and food of Chinatown. ~~ At your age you would enjoy the Bay Area Discovery Museum, a one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor family museum under the Golden Gate. It's hands on fun! ~~ There are many bus tours of the city, the Presidio and over the Golden Gate (that's a must). ~~ San Francisco has many fine museums, lovely gardens and parks. ~~ Finally, it' nice to just wander downtown too. There is quite a lot of street art and performers; many lovely old buildings and great stores for shopping.
