Travel Info I am looking for a nice vaction spot in Flordia thats not too expensive..any suggestions? Travel Tips Florida is not expensive everywhere! You just have to know where to go. I've lived in Florida all my 20 years :-) and one of my favorite spots to vacation too is St. Augustine!! It's up near Jacksonville on the East coast and is the coolest town. If you're into camping they have that available almost right on a GREAT beach (Anastasia State Park) and some really nice bed and breakfast nooks, not to mention your conventional hotels & motels. I live less than two hours from St. Augustine and I get out there as often as possible. You also won't have to compete against (for example: college students) others to enjoy your vacation. Unlike places like Daytona Beach, Panama City Beach, Miami.. if you're going in the high prime vacation time (spring into summer)... St. Augustine won't be full of college students but is more family friendly. Others We travel to warm climates serveral times a year and find Florida about the most expensive location to value for value, especially the east coast. Try the west cost. If you want to go in the late spring or summer, it all a deal. not florida its expensive everywhere Seista Key...amazing beaches If you ask this question in the Miami or Orlando category you will probably get a lot more answers and from people who know the state a lot better than people from SF. |
