Bus tours leaving Vancouver to the U.S.A. west coast.? |
Travel Info Bus tour to San fransico, Los angeles, Napa, Travel Tips - In most cases, you'll have to fly into the United States from Vancouver first (to SFO or LAX airports) for a bus tour. There's a 6 Day Bus Tour from San Francisco to Las Vegas: http://www.getamericatours.com/a55870/to... There's also a 10 Day Bus Tour Around California and Nevada (starts and ends in Los Angeles): http://www.getamericatours.com/a55870/to... For the more adventurous... there's a 14 Day Camping Tour from Los Angeles to Seattle: http://www.trekamerica.com/tours/pc.html... There are also several other 9-14 Day Camping Tours (starts and ends in San Francisco): http://www.greentortoise.com/northern.pi... http://www.greentortoise.com/pacific.tre... http://www.greentortoise.com/best.of.the... - If you leave directly from Vancouver, there are two other non-tour options. You can take the Coast Starlight train to Los Angeles... which will pass by Seattle, Portland, and the San Francisco region (it doesn't serve the city itself, but there are bus and commuter rail connections): http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/contentser... Since there's one in each direction per day, you can buy tickets that will allow you to break the journey up as much as you want. There are also cruises from Vancouver to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or San Diego. However, these are sporadic and seasonal. So, if you want the boat, it's probably best to contact a travel agent to figure out the details. There's another disadvantage, of course. You are at the mercy of their schedule (which may only include one or two days in port). |
