There is also a bristol farms [much more gourmet grocery] in the food court area of the Westfield shopping center at 5th and Market. Others There are Safeways all over the city. Since you have a computer, go on to www.safeway.com, use the store locater tab to find the closest store to where you are. None in union square. The most convenient supermarket to get to would be the Safeway at Market St. & Duboce (past Chruch St.). It's very convenient via Muni or by automobile.
