Travel Info
I am staying in Salinas, Ca for one day and the only hotel I could find that is not booked is on 144 Kern st. I've never been to Salinas. Could someone give me some info. about that area. Thank you.
Travel Tips
I lived in Salinas for about 6 months and then got of their as quickly as I could. No places are safe. North Salinas is the nicest and newest part, but my car was broken into in a high class gated apartment complex. My boss' car had been broken into 3 times in a year. There is a lot of crime there, and a lot of gangs. As far as hotels, I usually had friends and family stay at the Best western off of kern street. It is a pretty good hotel, but don't venture too far away. |
