Pickwick hotel in san francisco: good or bad?

Travel Info
my family is looking for hotels in San francisco to stay while we are there, nothing too expensive with an 11 and 13 yr old. does anyone know if this hotel is in a good area, or a good deal? or does anyone have any other ideas on good places to stay. i want to be close to as much as possible, and not have to pay an arm and a leg to get there from the airport.

thanks

Travel Tips
The Pickwick just redecorated thier hotel. The area is convienent to shopping as it is in the same block as the new Westfield San Francisco Center shopping center so lots of street traffic which makes it safe to get to and from.

It is also really accessable via Bart as the Powell Street Station is just a block away and you can ride from the airport to Powell street for about $5.25 per person.

Hotel rates in San Francisco at any decent hotel start at about $100 per night. So if you can get a room for all four of you for under $200 the hotel is probably a decent one.
