How is the weather in San Francisco right now and the previsions for the next week? |
Travel Info I arrive next monday ! I'm dying to be there ! Travel Tips It's cold and rainy right now, but that's typical Spring weather here. Tomorrow it's supposed to be bright and sunny in the lower 60s. So, depending on how long you'll be here, you'll get a mixed bag of weather so be prepared for anything from sunny in the low 70's during the day to moist and cold at night in the 50's. Have fun! Others Log on to "www.weather.com" and you can get a 10 day advance weather forecast for San Francisco. well today it is cold but lately it has been lovely Being someone who has lived here their entire life, I have to tell you this: BRING AN EXTRA COAT before leaving your hotel. Regardless of what the daytime temperature/weather is like, you will more than likely need a coat in the evening especially if you are planning to walk around in the outdoors. SF is notorious for having beautiful daytime weather, and as soon as 4 or 5 o'clock comes around, the fog and wind starts rolling in and all you will see are funky tourists dressed in shorts, a t-shirt or worst in tanktops, and are shivering in the cold trying to buy those cheap jackets to cover up! Don't be one of them!!! Check www.weather.com right before you leave so in case the weather says warm then you can bring a lighter coat. www.weather.com SF has fascinating weather! It will be sunny and warm in one neighborhood, and across the 7-mile city it can be cold and gray in another neighborhood. In general, you will have sunny days but the air could be cool. No matter what you do, never leave without a jacket and/or a scarf (or pashmina if you are a girl). You will find yourself starting the day with a jacket, taking it off, then putting it back on. Its good weather to eat outdoors for lunch, but maybe with a jacket. I would bring a mid-weight jacket. I am always cold, so I also generally keep a beanie cap with me in the evening. Have fun!
