Travel Info Can I take a cab from SF-California airport to Hotel with a 2 yr old baby without the baby seat? Travel Tips They do not require a car seat in cabs, but it is always a good idea to use one if you can bring it with you. Others I really don't think that the cab driver is going to ask any questions. If he rejects you, - he knows that you'll just wait for another cab. There's two factors, - one, - if he's stopped by a cop, -will the cop really give HIM a ticket for the 2yr old not having a carseat? And two, -do the cab companies have some kind of rule that he could loose his job if he does this? A 2 mile drive boils down to less than a 1 hour walk with a child in a stroller. Why risk it? I would use a car seat, it only takes a minute to install and take out and it could save your babies life. NO. "Children must be secured in an appropriate child passenger restraint (safety seat or booster seat) until they are at least 6 years old or weigh at least 60 pounds." http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/boosterseats.... |
