What to do in Alameda, California?

Travel Info
My husband has just suffered a sports injury and is laid up in the house with a cast and crutches. Any suggestions of what we can do in or around Alameda so he doesn't go stir crazy?

Movies, eating out. Obviously most outdoor activities are no good.

Take a trip to Reno and do some gambling. Or the Indian Casino at Cache Creek.

Others
have fun without the hubby. haha. get him some things to stay busy like fun books with crossword puzzles. then go around the town on a trolley and take pictures like crazy!
Go to the beach. Watch the Warriors try to get in the play-offs, finally.
