Visting San Francisco with teens?

Travel Info
My family is planning a 3-4 day trip to San Francisco with 3 teenage daughters. My husband and I have been before, but I would like some ideas on places to visit and things to do with 3 teenage girls. We will go to Alcatraz for sure....anything else a not miss thing?? Also, I read about a 'city pass' type of thing....is it worth the cost??
Thanks!!

Travel Tips
Teenage girls would like Union Square or the Haight for shopping. Union Square, nice, but crowded.

Haight, a little seedy, but safe during daytime. Funky, skater type shops popular with the kids.

Take them to Pier 39 to see the Sea Lions. Japanese Tea Garden is nice for a little tea and photo ops.

Dim Sum at Yank Sing in the Rincon Center.

Ferry Building for Burgers and Shakes at Taylor's Refresher.

You can rent bikes in Fishemans wharf or these little go-cart things and speed around for a bit. http://www.sightseeingworld.com/tourdeta...

Maybe head to Palo Alto one day to Stanford Shopping Center, Stanford Campus, and Downtown Palo Alto. You can eat at Cheesecake Factory or Bucca Di Beppo. Both fun for kids.

Others
Make sure to visit the city that is Barry Bond's large head. Oh don't forget your Rice o Roni.
There is a lot to do. There is a visiting center near china town i believe.(you can research its location on the internet) As far as things ot do off of the top of my head...drive and/ or walk acrss the golden gate bridge(sidewalk, lol) the toll is five dollars. There is fisherman's wharf. it is the land where you take the boats to get to alcatraz. There are all kinds of restaruants and shops. The food is really good. They have a lot of food stands that are cheaper than the restaurants and the food is fresh from the sea. you cna tase the difference. There is also Ghirardelli chocolate factory and store. so much to do. Make sure you ride the trolleys. There is san francsico square...all kinds of shops....so much to do. If you want to leave the kiddies at home there is an excellent night life there as well. sfclubs.com...aslo the rubie lounge. hope this helps!!
