Do people go walking around Chinatown at night? |
Travel Info im just curious.....cuz its pretty dangerous to go around chinatown at night....esp with all those gangs... Travel Tips just keep on the main track around chinatown and no dark alleys,, yeah it is pretty safe out there in chinatown,unless you are looking for trouble??? Others No, it is safe. Lots of people eating in the restaurants and shopping. NO! THE TRIAD WILL GET U if you go in the touristy part of chinatown then you'll be surrounded by a million tourists late at night so nothing to worry about. Not too many locals walk around SF Chinatown at night, usually it's only people going to and from restaurants. I've never heard of anyone running into any trouble just walking around at night in Chinatown. lived in SF Chinatown for years I am from the UK and I love San Francisco, I have been there many a time and I have never felt unsafe walking around Chinatown at night. There are usually lots of people milling about. I wouldn't go walking around any dark alleys alone, but then again, I wouldn't do that anywhere! Have fun! |
