I know about the piers, but are there any parks that are good viewing locations for the show?

you mean besides the show site? That's a tough call it is on the south side of the bay bridge over kind of by att park. There aren't really any parks there except just hanging by the waterfront. area.

Maybe the yacht clubs at China Basin just south of the ballpark?
