Travel Info What is the best San Francisco neighborhood to live in, if I am driving to San Carlos for work? Travel Tips Big Kat and Lynda have it right. The right NEIGHBORHOOD to be in is something south and west, such as the Sunset or Parkside or best yet out by Lake Merced. You can live in a gorgeous part of SF, and fly out the 280 ( recognized as a "great" freeway) to San Carlos. PS your commute, although foggy sometimes, will be scenic and fun. Others San Carlos Sacramento. it's a bit of a commute, but at least your not surrounded by strange people as much. How about Burlingame? If you must be in the City. Try Noe Valley. Nice place and close to freeway Hi, The best location to is the Avenue's off 19th. Or you could look around San Francisco City College and Geneva Ave. They both have good access the 280. I would avoid the 101 it can become a real problem in the morning and evening rush hours. 280 will get you to San Carlos on the upper side take Edgewood road. SOMA/Potrero Hill Sunset & Parkside Districts are good. Usually good neighborhood street parking, too, if a garage doesn't come with your unit. |
