Travel Info What is the best campsite in the San Fransisco Bay area? Travel Tips I like Big basin, quiet, with lots of wild life. I have only been to Memoriall once, and thought it was too noisy, too many party people. If you want a lake Del Valle in Livermore is OK. Be sure to camp in the trees, it gets really hot there. Others Memorial Park is nice. Ya I agree Memorial park in really great. It has a lok of camp sites, It is close to a beach, and it is close to Santa Cruz. There is also a very cold and small smimming creek. There are also good hiking trails. I have gone there all of my life. You will like it. It also has a ampitheatre (Spelling) where skits and movies are performed there. there is also a little store there just incase you need something, I their ice cream is to die for. memorial parks fun i grew up in la honda and when we were little me and my friends would all get together our families and camp there i lik ebig basin don't know |
