Other Travel Tips Well, there are many safe areas. Noe Valley being one of them. But I can't think of one area that is reasonably priced. Hope you find a place because SF is one beautiful city. Personal knowledge North Bernal, Noe Valley, some sections of Potrero Hill, some sections of Glen Park, some sections of the Haight, some sections of the Mission. Neighborhoods can change in the space of a few blocks. Outer Richmond District of the City is the safest area in the entire Bay Area. You can rent an apartment around $2000 a month, with a garage. For San francisco that's cheap. You don't need a car public transit is the best I've ever seen. Houses will run about a million, that's why i moved. |
