Are there any live concerts or special events during the 4th of July in San Francisco? |
Travel Info And where's the best spot to enjoy the fireworks ? Travel Tips Oh yes, San Francisco hosts one of the largest 4th of July celebrations on the West Coast. Bill O'Reilly and FOX News certainly won't tell you about that, but it is true. IN THE CITY: There's live music at Fisherman's Wharf: http://www.4thofjulysf.com/main.html... There are usually freelance bands playing patriotic music in Golden Gate Park's music concourse and Yerba Buena Gardens on the 4th of July as well. There are buffet Dinner Cruises (great views of the fireworks): http://www.hornblowerholidays.com/san-fr... Of course, the San Francisco Bay fireworks show is the main event. You can certainly see it from Fisherman's Wharf, but that's the most crowded venue. They're also visible from the Oakland Hills, upper parts of the UC Berkeley campus, and Twin Peaks as well. But the weather...you never know. Could be 110 and super....could be about 48 in a bone chilling fog. no where because every year there is fog which kills it!!!!but the wharf is where you could see them in between the puffs of fog There are a lot of fire works and really great events |
