San Francisco is a beautiful city. The scenery alone makes a visit worthwhile. Look at the Golden Gate, the Presidio, the view from Coit tower, and Golden Gate Park. The city offers plenty of museums, from the de Young museum to the Exploratorium, plus a plethora of unique restaurants, and great architecture in each distinctive neighborhood.
With all the diverse people there, I am sure there are clubs for every sort of taste. Enjoy your clubbing!

True, better than Stockton but SF smells like pee all the time.
Chinatown kicks *** but the rest of the city is gay. To clarify things I mean gay literally, and I would not find a gay club fun. Only a gay could find a gay club fun, so no I hate San Francisco. Plus San Fransisco is too clean and there is not enough smog... who would want to live there? Nobody that's who! Hi5!
Even tho I live in LA, I find San Francisco to be very very very
nice. I love going to pier 39. And riding on the Cable Cars.
And I like to listen to Michael Savage.

You need to fit with the town culture in order to like it!
Funny, I actually hate SF because it is so left wing liberal! I prefer the central valley like Stockton and Modesto. Now if getting to SF from Stockton is the issue I would just use the ACE train to Pleasanton and BART into the city from there. Still though, I really hate SF!
i love san francisco .. shopping.. karaoke.. restaurant.. japantown.. clubbing..

the only thing i hate about san francisco is the weather.. the fog.. and sometimes summer is like weather! =D
