Are there any under-18 dance clubs in San Francisco? |
Travel Info I'm looking for a good nightclub for my daughter to spend her Sweet Sixteen at. Travel Tips Not really. There are barely any clubs for 18 year-olds! Most are 21+. But while I was in high school there were a few held over the summer by various clubs, usually on a Sunday evening. One thing I do know is the club owner of City Nights, his son is in high school (went to school with him) & he holds various events for high school student during the academic year. I believe when it's for high schooler's the club is called "Glow". I went to one or two of Glow's dances and had a pretty good time. It was very popular and had security. I even saw the club owner inside (he was probably checking in on his son). A neat feature abou the location is it has two levels and a few dance floors. It was definately fun. There was also a cover charge and coat check ($2 each item-or something like that). But unfortunately I do not know when their next event will be. My guess is the high school students will know about it first. Good luck.
