Travel Info Suggestions for Independence Day activities for tourists in San Francisco this July 4 (2007) including firewo Travel Tips my two favorite activities to do on 4th of july are either watching the fireworks from pier 39 and/or chrissy field. or going to a baseball game. That is my favorite spot, though not as majestic as seeing them in New York City, but greate view of the bay. The A's will be doing theirs on the July 3rd. So you can take in the game and watch fireworks afterwards. Giants are out of town that week. if you go to sf for fireworks, be sure to bundle up. By fireworks time at 9pm, it can be in the low 50s and foggy. So be prepared. there are also fireworks in Sausalito, Berkeley, Jack London Square, San Jose, Martinez. robert mondavi winery in Napa Valley does music and fireworks. Possible a boat tour that will take you out at night. There should be a lot of shows in the bigger ports, SF, Oakland and such...Beforwarned....It tends to be foggy that time of year... You may not be able to see anything execpt for ground fireworks. |
