What is there to do in the San Fran Bay area for the weekend?? |
Travel Info I'm 27 and my sister who is 17 is visiting... what can we do that is in this area? We don't mind traveling but we don't want to do the typical tourist crap like Alcatraz and Ghiradelli, etc... we've already done that. We want to do something fun!! Travel Tips you guys could come visit me... lol... jk... in sf you could just go hang out in downtown or pier 39... you could also head to either great america, marine world or one of the water parks that are kinda close , how about the zoo?? or find out if there is gonna be any festivals in yor area that weekend... Others Do you like athletic or outdoor activities? Go for a hike or take a ferry trip to angel island. Go sailing! jeepers y'all have Olympic/World Cup Sailing area there, use it, have fun. Here's two local papers where you can look for events http://www.sfbg.com/ http://www.sfweekly.com/ Go north to Tiburon and go to one of their nice resturaunt..have you tried Golden Gate Park.Palace of Fine Arts, Pier 39,Chinatown,Great America,Go to Napa Valley or hiking in Muir Park. Or go to Santa Cruz or Carmel or Monterrey it is hecka fun!! You could go to the aquarium and boardwalk,and the beach and the site is beautifil there is so much to do besides the whole touristy stuff! |
