Travel Info Are Hostels safe to stay in. I plan on staying at a cheap one in San francisco? Travel Tips Yes, they are pretty safe. Only residents can enter, there are lockers to keep your valuables safe. They keep a pretty tight rein on things. I'm wondering which "cheap one" you're staying in. Even if a hostel is safe, a neighborhood may not be. Others A group I was in went to San Fransisco and stayed in a hostel. It was a really nice one too. Really nice owners. Don't know how much it costs, but it was a really good place to stay. Wow...that is so crazy. My cousin works at a hostel in San Fran. She says a lot of young people stay there but they do get a few shady characters. id say its pretty safe, just aviod the really low scale parts of town to stay in, but im sure you will since your visiting Hostels are usually pretty safe, but as the rooms are communal you need to keep your valuables on you at all times! http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... |
