Travel Info Can you see the bay bridge from terminal 1 in Oakland? Travel Tips If you mean from Terminal 1 of the Oakland Airport, then the answer is a qualified "no". The Oakland end of the Bay Bridge is located on San Francisco Bay at the west end of Oakland. The Oakland Airport is located to the southeast "around the corner" from the bridge. The City of Alameda and part of downtown and west Oakland is in the way and blocks the view of the east end of the bridge. However, you may be able to glimpse the suspension spans on the San Francisco (west) end of the bridge from some points at the airport. Terminal 1, located on the northeast side of the terminal complex, would give you the best shot in that direction, but it wouldn't be a very close-up or impressive view of the bridge if it's visible at all.
