I am nota gambler but have stayed in the casinos because the hotels are awesome! The food is great too and the shows.... Other Travel Tips Glitter Gulch New york new york and The Ventian hotel. basically all the hotels have really cool stuff in them I love los Vegas you will never run out of stuff to do See the fountain show at the Bellagio and there is also a show - The Sirens, I think at Treasure Island. Both are free, which is nice! If you like buffts, try one at one of the major hotels down there. The Venetian, the Bellagio, Caesar's, New York New York, and the one that looks like the sphinx are cool hotels. Try to get a show in - the Blue Man group is supposed to be cool - I saw Phantom and that was awesome. We rented a convertible and drove out to the Valley of Fire - that is a cool drive and short hikes take you to see petroglyphs. We also drove out to the Hoover Dam. The Fremont Street Experience is cool, too. Like another poster listed - it depends on what you like to do - if you are into more "adult entertainment" there is plenty of that, too! When you go, pick up a touristy type book and they have lots of activities. Have fun - it is awesome - I went in November and can't wait to go back. It really depends on what are you going there for and how many days do you have? top answers are: Romantic time with your wife/gf/partner Gambling Little bit of everything... here are some good options: Celine Dion show in Ceasers Pirates of TI (the free show outside Treasure Island) Gondola Ride in Venitian (do it indoors or outdoors depending on the weather) Catch atleast one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows (O at Bellagio is the best rated, but you can also go to the KA in MGM thats a good one too) Fountains at the Bellagio Go up the Eifell Tower in Paris - the best views that you'll get... try to time it such that you can see the Bellagio fountains when you are up there... Shops at Bellagio Freemont street (in the day time) Jubilee (adult show) in Baileys I found that winning was easier in Flamingo and Baileys than it was in Bellagio or MGM... you take your pick when it comes to gambling... Buffet Lunches and Breafasts at the Alladin are amazing Sunday Champagne brunch at MGM is pretty cool Get a hotel On the strip... thats the best way to have the most amount of fun... Use the local bus service (forget the name, but you'll see them) Do not rent a car unless you want to see Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon post more detials and I can get you a better response there is so much to do! ceasar's palace mall, mandalay bay and hardrock have the best pools. go on the rides on top the stratosphere. fountain show at bellagio. hope that helps. i haven't been in 3 years..so i'm sure there is even more now! |
