How is the gay pride festival in San Francisco? |
Travel Info I'm planning on going up there this month. What is it like? Travel Tips I've gone the last few years. However, I'm not gay. I went with my gay guy friend to help him meet guys. Most of the ones his age (teenage) were straight--go figure! I've had a blast, but prepare to get hit on. I wouldn't go alone, simply because it's more fun with friends! A lot of half-naked people, lots of free condoms, several 'shop' stands, a food area, dance/entertainment stages w/ DJ's or performers. I've always enjoyed it. Have a great time! I go every year (I live in SF) and I'm not even gay. Its a ton of people in the street, a big parade, and then a huge street party down by City Hall with bands and whatnot. I like the Asian Pacific Islander stage because they have a bunch of hot Phillipina girls in hotpants doing dance numbers every year (at least I hope they're girls) The time of your life.. but only if you like to have fun and party. Ppl come from all over the world best to know someone who lives in the area. The festival is a must see, but even better is if someone can take you too smaller club/bars that the locals go too. check out the following: The Endup, N'touch, etc |
