Im going 2 june lake from san jacinto how long would it take? |
Travel Info with no traffic and will there be those squgily turns? Travel Tips Its 342 miles, so my guess for day time driving is about 7-8 hours. After dark it would be about 1 hour less.You would make your way up to the I-215 north, then to US-395 all the way to June Lake. The problem is that the 80 miles from Adelanto to the 395 junction with Ca-14 is two lane road, and if you get stuck behind some "turtle" it's nearly impossible to pass. Later at night there is much less traffic (and only 1 CHP patrolling between Inyokern & June Lake). Fill up your gas tank in Lone Pine, and again in Bishop. The price will be (slightly) less than in the little towns in between, and up on the mountain. Drive safely, and have a great time. Others just make sure you don't hit the 5:00 traffic. |
