Visit: SF, Marine World (I think it's Six Flags Vallejo now), Sacramento, and maybe S Lake Tahoe

Oh if you like fishing/boating/water sports, there's lots of that in the Delta waters out there.

Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must. Many spots in SF ie Chinatown, Alcatraz, Winchester Mystery mansion is a trip.
I like Sausalito - it is a beautiful seaside artsy place.
Try Death Valley in July.
